I love you TayTay

Taylor Swift made the word Douche Bag seem adorable on last nights SNL, and I fell even more deeply in love with her.

Back by popular demand, Our Engagement Story

I have received a few emails today asking about Pete's and my engagement story, so if you have NOT yet heard it, click here!

It might be helpful to play this while you read it, to enhance the mood you know?

Because honestly, if you want to know what it feels like when the person you love more than anything in the whole wide world asks you to be his wife, jump ahead to the 3:00 mark. That is what it feels like when you realize it's happening.

At 3:12 is when he gets on his knee.

Jump out of your chair at 3:18 and throw your arms in the air. Start twirling like Maria Von Trap in the Alps.
He just said "Will you marry me"?

Feels pretty good, doesn't it??

These boots are made for walking...

ALSO, many of my new yankee friends have inquired as to where they might procure some cowboy boots like mine, and which brands I prefer. While Lucchese Boots are considered to be one of the most popular, high end brands:

I prefer Old Gringos. They are comfier (for my little paws) and I think the shape of the toe on the boot is more flattering- plus they have a wider array of fun whimsical styles.

For Lucchese and Old Gringos, as well as several other great brands, I go to Allen Boots.

She wears high heels, I wear sneakers...

Sooo Taylor Swift was AMAZING in concert. A great set list, really genuine audience interaction, she worked the ENTIRE arena, popping up in random aisles throughout the show, lots of divatude, and LOTS of FABulous sparkly dresses!

Which of course, she paired with boots...a girl after my own heart!

This, of course, sent me to the internets to find some sparkle of my own. Unfortunately I feel like Winter is really the season for sparkly dress shopping, so I was a bit premature...

It's Fearless...

This time last year I was out on the open road with my bff Laura falling in love with Taylor Swift as we listened to her first album about 2-3 times a day from beginning to end.
Tonight I will be going to see Miss Swift in Chicago on her Fearless tour.
I am very excited.
I thought about wearing this.

Why, you might ask?

Because I am a freak.

And think maybe if Taylor saw the we have so much in common in the way of our taste in attire, she would ditch red-headed Abigail (sorry abigail, you're adorable, I hope you understand) and I could be her new best friend.
I am insane.
If you didn't know this before, please refer to my past posts on Britney Spears.
Whether or not any of this happens, I still think it should be a pretty good time!

And to my real life best friend, blonde-headed Laura...I wish we were still driving through the blue mountains belting out Love Story.xoxo
